Look I know this has been asked a thousand times and i did search. but i need some kind of alternative with pics of anything I can use that is available at Home Depot, Canadian tire and the like.

this is what i used the first time i built the pack:
i found these at a place called city mill (general hardware store in hawaii), but i have also seen them at places like home depot and lowe’s. print out the picture and show it to someone in the store (it should be in the hardware section…along with picture hangers, etc.) Buy 2, they fit right together (not very snug, though-if you bend over to pick something up, you may find yourself picking up thrower parts as well :(…however, it doesn’t turn when mounted! → that’s key!) If you can’t find them at all, i may have the old ones lying around.
Last resort, contact Exoray about dixie cup wall mounts → these are a nice fit!, and cheap! He’s good to deal with too!

i bought some of those picture hangers at walmart. i decided not to use them because they didnt look very trust worthy for same reason you mentioned. so i got a couple from exoray. they work nice 
they hold on fine when you’re upright (the picture hanger ones), but if your drunk and jumping up and down, it may fail (not speaking from experience, of course :lol: )
nice to know about the dixie clips, though…i haven’t fastened mine on yet, as i am just finishing the new thrower.
If you could get two of those button post things, mount them right next to each other at the right angle and it should keep the gun from turning.
Mirror hooks…Would you really trust your wand to that? It will fail and you’ll have a bunch of broken parts to prove it, either get the dixie cup mounts from Exoray (if he still has some) or uscmbuzz (if he still has some) or wait for Namebrand to do another run of accurate gun hooks (best option).
Why spend all the money building a pack /gun and then cheap out on the gun hook?
Or you could buy them right from the suppliers.

naw I did not they do not have a minimum order but you do have to pay 5 bucks shipping it it comes in a big box. Kinda cracked me up when I got them.
