Has anyone else here done it?
My fiance and I originally had a date of June 6th of next year… a semi-formal wedding. But due to recent family drama (both sides) and financial reasons we decided to elope next month. We both love October and the fall season and Halloween is one of our favorate holidays. So we have a site picked, working on getting a JP and someone to take pics (not spending alot on a photographer) and a honeymoon in Salem, Ma. Oh and the instead of tradditional tux and dress we’ll be in costume. I might wear a bow tie with my GB costume though

My fiance and I also LOVE Halloween. We even worked for a local haunted attraction last year. We hope to again this year, but may not be able to because now she works later and we seem to be very busy lately. Hopefully, at the very least, we can at least work for them a few days here and there.
Anyway, we actually had been thinking for a while that maybe we’d get married on Halloween. For a few different reasons, though, we decided not to do that. Mainly, I got to thinking… if we got married on Halloween, Halloween would become our anniversary. Obviously, that would mean we’d want to do anniversary type things, so we’d probably miss out on Halloween every year. So, instead, we decided to do it in October (of next year) close to Halloween. This way, we can celebrate our anniversary in October AND Halloween!
That was just our decision, though. It still would be REALLY cool to have a Halloween wedding, so I wish you and your fiance the best of luck! It sounds like it will be A LOT of fun!
