After seeing the trailer, I’m sold. The concept is probably the most relateable we’ll ever see for a comic book flick. I won’t say anything else. Check out the trailer below to make your own assumptions.

You almost can’t go wrong with Will Smith.
He’s like the go-to guy for hollywood films. Will Smith has pretty much proven that he’s money in every genere and role. All that’s left to takle now is horror and kung fu.
I am legend was supposed to be a horror movie (never saw it, but the original book was).

Personally, it looks like Smith is playing an unlikable character, and if he plays him well, I won’t like him - which means I won’t like the movie either. Sounds crazy, I know - but then I didn’t like the Seinfeld show either (and you have to admit, most of the time the characters were pretty unlikable, or at least doing things that you wouldn’t approve of if they were your friends and it was your apartment).
I think he will start off as a jerk, but will be a likeable jerk by the end of the movie. AGGGH! Too many movies! I won’t have enough $$$$ to see them all. And gas is going to be $5 by Summer! AGGH!

Darkhorizonns is reporting the screener reviews is quite bad, which is unfortunate.
I saw it today. It’s a pretty interesting and realistic enough take on being a superhero in a reality based setting.

It was like hearing a really good story told by someone who hadn’t really listened when they heard it for the first time.
I saw Hancock last week. It was a great concept that unfortunately wasn’t put together extremely well. The movie really veers off in a whole new direction after the first half.
I liked it a lot. It did take an interesting twist, in the middle, but I though it flowed with the story well, the only thing that really bothered me was the camera work, which was very shaky and going in and out of focus, this got really annoying really fast.
I seen this movie on the 4th of July 2 weeks ago with my parents and I enjoyed it very much.
It was a great movie. The twist was a little much for me at first, but the explanation seemed to suffice.
