This really unsettles me. It would instantly create one company with an insanely large amount of the toy market all to itself–not technically a monopoly, but too close for my comfort.
This wouldn’t sit well with me even if it got us reissues of the classic RGB figures.
Though that would help.
It makes a lot of sense.
Both companies consist of the same third party supply chains (China) and a whole lot of identical overhead (marketing, product development, brand management, etc.)
A merger would be very profitable for both, as it would involve a whole lot of people fired…
