Just wanted to say hi to all the Ghostbusters fans here. My name is David and I’m from Easley SC. Just found out about this board and hoping make some new friends and meet more fans of Ghostbusters films. I got a chance to check out a re-release screening last night. It was great. Last time I seen it on big screen was in its original release. I was like 11 or 12 at the time. Looking forward reading everyones posts.
Hey David… glad you got to relive the GB experience! They did a replay of the film here in Wellington a year or two ago… so far nada on the current “re-release”… how was the picture? I’m wondering if they are using old reels or what.

I was at the Hollywood 20 in greenville on thursday night. I seen two guys come in with full ghostbusters gear. Very cool.
Thank you very much and sorry they aren’t doing the current re-release in your area. I actually thought it wasn’t going to show up here but thankfully at least one theater got it. The picture was great. It seemed like a upgrade from the bluray release( didn’t have as much grain) and sound was very clear. Not sure if the sound was upgraded in anyway but I thought it was fine. Hopefully I can make it out to the last showing next thursday.
