Wanted to Introduce myself.
I’m from Louisville, Ky and I’m 30 years old.
I’ve been a Ghostbuster fan for as long as I can remember. My dad took me along to see the movie when it was released, but I of course was to young to remember much of it, as I was 2 at them time. I saw GB 2 in the theaters, and I grew up during the era when the cartoons where on every Saturday morning.
I recently found this site through the RPF forums, and I become instantly hooked on the idea of making my own GB costume as I had wanted one since I was a little kid, I had the old proton pack and trap toys, and almost all of the GB figures at one time or another as I grew up.
I’m currently in the planning phases of my costume doing research and seeing what course I want to take with it.
I’ve already starting hitting up the surplus stores and ebay looking for a flight suit. I figured I would do the easy part first and work my way up to a Pack and Wand, as well as making a ghost trap and PKE meter to round out the costume.
