Staten Island to be exact. The name’s Eric. I recently watched the documentary Ghostheads on Netflix, and it brought me to here. I want to jump on this bandwagon because I LOVED Ghostbusters when I was a kid. GB1 came out 2 years before I was born, but I watched both 1 and 2 constantly as a kid because it was such an awesome movie! Now I want to become a part of it. I don’t have the time or patience to peice together the whole costume but I have found on ebay someone who custom makes everything but the gadgets. So you get the suit, the patches, the tube on the pants, the belt with holsters for the gadgets, the gloves, and the elbow pads for $350. Not bad IMO. I can’t afford or justify spending over 3k for a proton pack, so unfortunately I may never get one. Which sucks cause I really want it to complete everything. I may just get a $400 replica trap instead and just call myself a ghost catcher lol. The documentary said this is an awesome community and I’m glad to become a part of it. I also seen in the documentary that you get a certificate for being a gb of your location. How do I go about getting this and what is required? I do plan on adding the NYC no ghost patch once I order my suit. By the way is there anyone else here from staten island?
