Hey guys,
I’ve been a long time lurker, but have finally decided to post properly! I’ve been a fan of the film since I first saw it on video in the late eighties, and grew up watching RGB. I have a few bits and pieces from when I was younger - Fright features figures, Proton pack and trap, Ghost zapper etc and I usually watch the films once every few months but my interest has been re-awakened with the onset of the (delayed) game, today’s potential good news, me wanting to accurize my polar lights Ecto-1 kit and eventually perhaps get an accurate uniform and accessories although the latter seems a very daunting and expensive prospect!
I managed to meet Ernie Hudson at the Collectormania event in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago, he was a real gent and very down to earth. I even managed to get a photo with him and his pack with me holding the wand (ahem). He explained the the movie packs were a lot heavier and this was a promotional one he used. Dunno of it’s history or whether it was just a fan build donated by a generous member of this here forum… He also though the whole B.M. situation was a bit weird and couldn’t understand why B.M. continued to veto/delay things…
So there you go!
