My name is Ceri and i live in Wales in the UK.
I am just starting my first proton pack and gun build.
I am still at the stage where i am collecting bits and bobs and taking Steffan’s plans onto the draughting board to a 1:1
I am dabbling with making my own aluminium bits and pieces.
In another life i used to design and build sets and props for stage shows, nothing quite as ambitious as a proton pack, i generally worked in wood and resin or scratch building with anything i could find. I’ve made Flame shooting bows, smoke firing walking sticks, and various other props for period dramas.
I did once build a flux capacitor for my mate for his birthday.
I’m interested to get in touch with other prop hobbyists in the UK that can help me source bits and bobs.
It goes without saying that i LOVE Ghostbusters! .. and many other 80’s films ( i was a teen in the 80’s!) My fave film ever is Blade Runner. Safe to say that Sci-fi is my absolute favourite genre of film.
