Hello!! My name is Oakie and I’m 17. I live in the Southern United States and I’m a college student attending culinary school and earing my degree in baking and pastry arts. I like to draw a lot and listen to music. I’m autistic and Ghostbusters is one of my special interests (my others are Little Shop of Horrors and the Mountain Goats). My favorite Ghostbusters movie is Ghostbusters II (even though it’s kind of…Not Great) because Louis Tully gets a lot of screen time and he’s my favorite character.
I hope we can be friends because most of my friends don’t really like GB a lot.
I am Jo, I live in Virginia, and I have the incredible good fortune of working with students with autism (middle school). So, I understand the special interests, and that sometimes you feel like others don’t understand your passion for something. I am not the standard community member here, in that while I have always enjoyed the GB movies, I joined here to learn more about what is needed to suit up and join a franchise. My son, who is in college working on his masters degree for school counseling had expressed an interest and so I have been trying to learn more, so that I could get some items for his birthday and Christmas that would help him meet basic requirements.
