I have been working hard to bring the awesomeness of Ghostbusters Fans and Facebook together. There is a new Facebook app in the works and I want to hear from you to know what you would like to see. What kind of features of Ghostbusters Fans would you like to see on Facebook? How should we welcome new Facebook users to Ghostbusters Fans, and how should be show other Facebook members what being a Ghostbusters Fan is all about?
You could just do pictures like how it shows your props on the website here and links back to your profile and the website.. Just some way to merge your facebook and GB fans profiles.
For those who don’t have Props or Fan Art to display.. I want to have some kind of emblem to display. That says “I’m A Ghostbuster” or “I’m a Ghostbusters Fan”.
Here is an idea I am throwing out there.. but I think it looks bad. Anyone like Teliwhy or Kingpin want to give it a try?
AJ you need to put a Share link to share it with the FB friends that are not from here, I kind of notice that. and about the logo I just thought that the proton charging logo was koo but we all know that one is taken, and a vintage kind of look like this one
ok, to be fair, I got the idea from my Ghostbusters cereal poster I laminated years ago, and it hangs framed on my wall. : P Not sure what other stuff you can have on there. I’m a bit of a Luddite with all this new fangled blogs, myspace, facebook, etc. : )
im sure i missed where you said it, but shouldnt there be something for our fb profile, even though its unfinished? also something else youre missing is the option of having the icon under your profile pic and on your left hand menu
I think Brad has the best idea - regular logo, (good).
I’d wrap “Back off man,” at the top and “I’m a Ghostbusters Fan!” underneath. Though “GB Fan” will fit better.
And Use Copperplate Gothic or another Ghostbusters font instead of the actual “Ghostbusters” font (with the tiny gb logo instead of an O - looks weird)
I posted this in another thread, but I’ll repost it here. I really think having a points system, based on answering trivia questions, would be a really great idea.
