Hey all,
Wonder if anyone can tell me how they fitted their GBFans wand lights in their TC v3.0 gun kit!? Specifically the red button and light on the gun ear. I have searched but can’t find a build that clearly shows it.
I stupidly drilled the hole right down the ear in to the inside of the front barrel but then realised I didn’t really need to do that…duh!!!
So, do I drill a hole in to the front barrel and feed the wires down the tube…or should I just make the groove on the underside of the grip a little bigger and feed them through that way? I’ll probably use some heat shrink to cover up the wires, what do you think?

Depends on what your plan is for the clear tube. Running down the grip might be better if your tube will extend. I drilled through the side and ran the wires down the tube track BUT I had no plans to install a pop mechanism. If you drill through the side, be sure to drill at a sufficient angle to hit the track otherwise the wires will interfere with the front bushing.
Using heat shrink on the ear is accurate. Good call. Believe I used 3/4-inch.

OK, anyway… Yeah, my first build I drilled into the barrel channel and fed the wires down the barrel tube. My second build, I dremeled out a grove in the grips and ran it under the front grip (which is how they did it in the movies). I am slowly tinkering with a new TC v3h thrower and will be drilling into the barrel channel for the wires.
And yes, heat shrink is accurate for covering those up. Some other (like myself) use electrical tape because i don’t have a local source for ¾" heat shrink.
If you have an ACE Hardware nearby, they carry 3/4-inch heat shrink in the automotive wiring aisle.
