I need some ideas for making a Stay Puft Marshmallow-Man costume.
Like material ideas and stuff .
If any ideas please post them.
I’ve 3 months before dragoncon to get it done.
Urethane foam understructure with foam latex skin. Cloth bib and hat.
I thought about making a costume.
Most people do hard cast ones.
But isnt Stay Puft soft and cuddly?
Yah, I am going to make one out of pillow insulation, and white fuzzy fabric.
Only thing bad about that is cleaning it.
The head would be hardest.
I still plan to go cabric with that. Although it would get VERY hot.
The mouth I will make a vent dealy.
Some sort of wire mesh with fabric over it might work. Depending the fabric, it may even be survivable in the Georgia heat.
buy one of those inflatable sumo wrestler costumes. Paint it with white fusion paint.. add the bib, make a mask- you can take it from there.
I actually have one of these. they have a battery operated fan to keep them blown up. quite comfortable.
It would need some sort of band to make the arms and legs more like marshmellows, but that’s an easy fix.
Even a simple one can look ace and get great comments !
