Sorry if this is too simplistic, but I tried to write it as if I was explaining it to my self last year before I really got in to this hobby.
The song will play until it finishes, or until you trigger another sound in if you want another sound to be played when you flip the switch back put the green wire in any positive sound terminal.
The positive/negative sound terminals are set up so that the negative is closest to the speaker out puts, and power out puts on the side with sounds 1-5. I believe its reversed for 6-10 but don’t quote me on that.
Also I would recommend using the switch with 3 prongs for a pair if sounds. Such as
start up / shut down
Vent open / vent close
And the button with 3 wires for
fire/ stop firing
Keep in mind that if you have lights that you want to be powered by the same switch its best to use a double pole double throw switch (DPDT switch).
This works like having 2 switches together inside of one. There should be 6 prongs at the bottom.
The best way to think of it is 2 sets of 3 prongs. The center should be negative, and one positive on each side (you don’t need to have a negative for every sound, just one per switch)
Then put your lights in with the ground on the other center and the positive on the same end as your start sound (start up, fire starting).
If you get it all installed and the sounds are backwards just reverse them on the Breakout board.
I personally think that its best to trigger the song with a momentary push button (very cheap to buy at radio shack or other electronics store) either mounted on the mobo or even the red button on the tip of the thrower.
But its your project, so do what ever, and just have fun with it!
