I am getting ready to start working on building a proton pack using the instructions from Paranorman and I am wondering if anyone has any pictures or videos of their project using these or similar instructions. I am more of a visual worker and pictures and video works the absolute best for me. Any help offered is appreciated.
Welcome, and there are hundereds of build threads here in the proton packs forum, as well as some great stickies with VERY useful info.
I haven’t really seen any video, but that’s probably because its a long build process, not just a 5 or 10 minute deal.
Just look around some, and odds are a lot of questions you might have will be answered without waiting for a reply from someone.
Welcome Tim! I recently completed a scratch build that followed Stefan’s plans, yet relied on a Paranorman budget. I build the pack out of foamboard, plywood, PVC, and some random pieces, but the total for the build was under $300 for a damn nice looking pack and thrower, and I did it all with a retractable razor, a metal ruler, and a small drill. Take your time, patience is definitely a virtue.

Krenzy has about the best most recent pack on a low budget I’ve seen on some time. Take your time and be patient and you too can have a nice pack
