Hey, I’m new on GBFans, but I think thats pretty obvious, lol…
My name is Ashley, although I prefer Ash. (And no, not the guy from Pokemon…) My friends have always addressed me as Ash, I liked it and it just stuck.
Well, I’m 14. It kinda feels wierd sometimes that I’m a fan of the series considering that pretty much everyone I know who is a fan of the series, are people who grew up with the movies. Ghostbusters came out a whole decade before I was even born, so I find it a little wierd liking so much stuff I didn’t even grow up with! (Trust me, I’m like obsessed with anything from the 80’s and 90’s lol) But I don’t let that bother me, I’m a true Ghosthead and WOW the conversations I can have about Ghostbusters could seriously go on for hours!
I did get to see the movie in the theatres back on February 20th, and WOW… It was SO MUCH MORE AMAZING then on DVD! I swear, that one night that I got to see it will go down in my own personal history book. The constant specks of dust on the original 1984 film was priceless, it felt so nostalgic! It’s like it was actually 1984! (Then again, I would never know LOL)
They had a trivia contest, and I cleaned up there! Got another copy of Ghostbusters on DVD. Yaaaaay xD
Even though I’m 14, and I never grew up with Ghostbusters, its a series I truely love and know lots about!
And I’m proud to say I annoy my friends with the constant quoting of any line from the movie~! xD
