Hi All!........

Just wanted to introduce myself! I’m Andy (Hi, Andy…) and I’ve been a Ghosthead since the first time I saw Ghostbusters 2 at the tender age of four. I believe I did it all as a kid concerning Ghostbusters. I would “work” on proton packs, which were just cardboard boxes with a coiled telephone cord connected to a pipe, and my Ecto-1A, which was the box of a meat smoker covered in printer paper. Naturally, I drew the “No Ghost” logos myself. Every now and then I would force my sister to sit at the desk in my room with an old telephone and say things like, “Yes, we’re back,” and “We got one!”

I’ve been a member over at Proptopia since 2005 and am one of the many who has realized his childhood dream of owning a screen accurate proton pack.

That’s basically me! I know I’ll enjoy my time here with all you other ghost fans.

Welcome aboard Andy! :boogieman:

Welcome to the forums, Andy! You live in Sleepy Hollow or NYS?

Neither, actually. I live in Georgia just north of Atlanta. Sleepy Hollow Studios is the name of my special effects make-up and prop shop. I do make-up and props for a lot of local theaters and hopefully one day I’ll be able to get into some Television and movie work. I’m supposed to be meeting with Bob Shelley, who was actually the uncredited special effects foreman on Ghostbusters, this month or next month, so hopefully I’ll get in with him and eventually expand my own shop.

I chose the name Sleepy Hollow Studios because The Legend of Sleepy Hollow has always been one of my favorite stories.

And that’s me!

Thanks for finally signing up Andy!

welcome! Did you post any stuff? This board is so HUGE I can’t look at everyone’s stuff, and I’m busy doing props for our fan-film, so I usually pop in here while I’m at work.
