Hi, my name is Elton and I’ve followed GBFans on Facebook for awhile but only now getting to signing up here. I’m originally from New York but live in Connecticut now. I’m a huge fan of Ghostbusters and have a costume and pack I made about 5 years ago, but this year I’d like to “level up” my GB equipment making skills. Nice to meet you all.

Thanks for the warm welcomes! So this is the pack that I made about 5 years ago:
It’s made mostly of foam and cardboard, and I built it using equipment plans I found here. Thanks again for that! I’m going to a couple of conventions the next two weeks (East Coast Comic Con & PAX East) and I’m planning to give the pack a “facelift” i.e. adding a few more details, and repairing some damage.
I think I’m ready for a better pack so my goal the rest of this year is to build a new pack out of foam in time for New York Comic Con. I’m also planning to build a “travel pack,” one that will break into 2 hollow pieces so that I can travel with it more easily to San Diego Comic Con. Hoping to share the progress of these builds here and any thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!
