I debated if it was right for me to sign up here because while I love the original Ghostbusters, the new film has gotten in my heart even more. But I haven’t been able to get the new film out of my head since I first saw it, I love all four of the girls, and I just really want to make my own outfit and gear. (Especially the gear. I’m more of a prop builder and I have so many ideas to start making a proton pack and ghost trap…)

So, I finally decided to go ahead and join. If things go well, I’m interested in joining the San Antonio Ghostbusters too. (I chatted with them at a con this summer and they were all really nice.) If nothing else, I at least would love to build a costume I can wear for cons.

I look forward to meeting you all and working on this project!

Greetings! I recently moved away from San Antonio (and really miss Mina & Dimi’s off of 90 by Lackland)!

I wasn’t a member of the ghostbusters there, but that was a wasted opportunity on my part. I moved to Hawaii and joined the group here and really like being part of it, so I recommend signing up for the San Antonio Ghostbusters and start making friends.

Hi, I am in the SATX group. You should look us up on Facebook. Their are two people in our group working on packs and suits from the new movie. We have a outing this weekend. We are going to be in the buddy walk for the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas.
