Hello everyone! Been trying to find the time to get myself signed up and active on here and finally have. Allow me to introduce myself. I’m James, have been a Ghostbusters fan since 2 years old thanks to my older brother. The franchise has been a constant in my life and glad there is a place like this that fanboys (and girls) can all share the same love for our favourite paranormal investigations and eliminations team!
Let me be clear on one thing: I am not a hipster/part time/fashionable geek Ghostbusters fan. Loving Ghostbusters has been almost a way of life for years and can honestly put my hand on my heart and take the pepsi challenge or trival pursuit relating to Ghostbusters and wipe the floor with any Joe geek chic.
I love Ghostbusters that much that for the past 5-6 years, i have divided my time with collecting Minimates, Mattel figures and other Great ghostbusters merch as well as hobby building props from an ‘expanded universe’ idea or simply my imagination.
Hopefully in time i will get the oppertunity to show off some of my projects but lets get my foot in the door.
One thing i would like to shout from the rooftops and please do spread the word to your fellow ghostbusters brethren is i have just finished my two latest projects: a Kenner Ecto 1 custom converted and a custom mattel Egon Spengler figure. These are going to be listed on eBay on Sunday the 1st June and continue on up to the Ghostbusters 30th anniversary. I would really appreciate people taking a look and if it takes your’e fancy then to get in touch.
