I hope the Canucks take it all. Hockey does not belong in CAli, or Florida. And as a Canadiens fan I can not wish the bruins well.
Hockey belongs wherever it is accepted by the masses.
Hockey does not belong in Phoenix, but it damn sure belongs in California. All three California teams draw very well, and have been competitive overall as a group for quite a while.
Tampa Bay, that’s another story, as they don’t seem to draw all that well all the time, only when they’re good. The Panthers absolutely don’t belong there though.
I’m honestly just happy that, regardless, a team who hasn’t won the Cup in a while will win it this year.

Vancouver - NEVER (joined NHL in 1971… 40 years)
Boston - 1972 (39 years)
San Jose - NEVER (joined NHL in 1992… 19 years)
Tampa Bay - 2004 (7 years)
Well Hockey now is consider the best sport, ranked higher then the NFL, MIB, and NBA. For California…two teams HATE one team…THE DUCKS…!
Would like to see either Vancouver or the Sharks win the cup. Don’t really care about Tampa or Boston. But I have to admit that there is some great hocket being played between these last 4 teams!!

I wouldn’t say it’s considered the “best sport” just because it won “Sports League of the Year” by some journal. (http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=563161)
That just means that the league is run well. It still ranks 4th behind all of those other sports for revenue and popularity though. I couldn’t care less about those sports, I’m a diehard hockey fan, but you have to be realistic about it.
And told you that the Sharks wouldn’t take it. That was a crappy OT goal to lose out on though. And yes, as a Flyers fan, I know something about crappy OT elimination goals.
