I’m trying to figure out how to make Holtzmann’s guns as seen below:
Does anyone have any pointers or has anyone else made these yet? Anyone know of a similar-looking toy gun that I could possibly modify?

My fiance and I are doing a build of these guns. They might not turn out perfectly this first round, but I’ll post photos when they are closer to being done…as in, with all the LEDs installed and working 
Here is a quick photo of one pistol. The other needs a bit more paint, and are made entirely of EVA foam, but they are complete!

HAhah!! I’m a little wary of licking this particular paint, but maybe I’ll put some kind of clear coat something-or-other on that spot…heh.
