I want to hear some of the things you can’t believe you missed after watching years of Ghostbusters. We have all probably had one of those “Wait a minute…is that?” moments with Ghostbusters and I think it would be fun to mention some.

Mine:

I just discovered this and it made me want to create this topic: During the montage you see the busters leaving a building with a big crowd around and Ray leading holding a smoking trap. I realized that’s the Sedgewick Hotel because of the doors. Then I realized the “No job is too big. No fee is too big.” is from outside the sedgewick hotel because Peter has slime on him. I hadn’t noticed that for all these years.

What did you miss?

I didn’t notice Ron Jeremy until about 5 years ago and I’ve been watching it since I was 3. Of course I wouldn’t of known who he was till middle or high school. But still how did I miss that?

I never noticed Janine peeking around the filing cabinets when Peter was talking to Peck until it was pointed out in the DVD commentary.

what? where and when? that’s one that has eluded me and i’ve been watching since it come out.

After Peck turns off the grid. Look in the crowd outside the firehouse.

Nothing big, but recently I was watching and when Ray says, “Hey, where do these stairs go?”, I noticed the stairs were right behind the spot on the wall where Dana’s fridge used to be. The fridge is blackened and on it’s side on the floor to the left. It makes sense, seeing as that’s where Dana first caught a glimpse of Zuul.

In GB2 Louis is talking smack to the judge/jury and says that ‘The “Black Out” was a big problem for everyone’

Well when I was younger I thought he was saying “Black Guy” and hence why Winston wasn’t in that scene…

I just noticed recently that when Ray says “listen..you smell something”" ..Venkman actually starts sniffing the air.

When I was building my pack I was looking at the movie and noticed the in the scene where there about to get on the elevator in the hotel. The shockmount on ray’s pack is sticking up. Almost like he backed against something and bent it.

I found this pic in the reference section to show what I’m talking about …

I’ve got another one, this time from GBII.

The logo sign hanging from the firehouse is a bit different from all the other GBII logos. The only difference is, instead of having the bar going across from top right to bottom left, it goes from top left to bottom right. It starts in the ghost’s wrong arm pit. I just noticed this the last time I saw the sign hanging in H&L8, and then noticed that’s the way it is in the movie.

Took me a while to notice, when Dana is in the kitchen, when the eggs cook themselves, the bag of Stay Puft Marshmallows sitting right there.

Same thing with Louis, er Vinz, when Peck is pointing, Vinz is mimicing him.

In the scene where the Ecto-1 responds from city hall with the national guard and police escort, I recently noticed the red rotator light on the roof rack is pointing straight down at the roof of the ecto as they first pull out.

Maybe the NYPD didn’t want them running red lights and had them put it down?

I remember in GB II, it took me a while to notice Ray winking at Egon when he was winding Winston up about the “Giant sewer rats”.
