How to add a V hook to a Matty trap

Hey people, I want to add a V hook to my Matty trap and could use some ideas on doing this as the battery door is just thin plastic. I have been trying to buy a conversion kits from a guy on the forums here but he seems to be M.I.A.

Any input would be great thanks.

I think I will take the simple option and attach the v hook to the existing battery cover using the washers and rivets. Maybe down the road replace it with a metal one. It will be strapped into the holster 90% of the time so I think this will work for me.

I drilled and riveted my v hook on tonight and works great. Thanks for the info

Where can i get just the v hooks? I cant find them anywhere around me

I got mine with the trap holster I purchased. The GB Fans store sells them, but it looks like they are out of stock at the moment.
