Going out to some bars this year with friends so my hero GB pack needs to stay at home safe so no one messes it up. Friend recommended I do a slimed suit so it looks like I’m off duty and had a bad night
I see prell shampoo and wire lube as recommendations but it looks like these dry within a few hours. Is there a permanent solution for a great looking slimed uniform? I’ll probably purchase a second uniform so I can have a permanent clean look and permanent slimed one. Plus this gives me a reason to drink and tell everyone how hard it is to be a GB on Halloween night. Could be fun
We used a two part rubber urethane that we dyed green or pink/red for mood slime. For green we used a dye that we got from a makeup F/X store, for the pink we busted open a pink highlighter, the kind that have liquid ink inside. Once the urethane started to congeal we used paint brushes and popsicle sticks to apply the “slime” and let it slowly drip down. Also, make sure you hang your suit and stuff it with news paper. Then, line the pockets with wax paper and cover the zippers with tape so you don’t fuse them shut.
Nice page you got there. I’m in need of a new khaki suit and I came across this topic while perusing and now I want to try this out, are there any exact measurements to follow for the urethane and dye or is it a play around till you get what you like kind of thing?
