How to - Make your own Barrel Trigger

Ok with so many parts out there to buy, this was one that I felt I could do. So I will share my experience

**

Things you will need

  • 1/8 Round Tubing (Brass or Steel)

  • A vice

  • Clippard Tubing

  • Epoxy Cement**

  • Dremel with Carbon Cutting blade

This part I was not willing to pay 15 for on ebay, the Barrell Trigger. So I went to my local hardware store and picked this up for less than $2.

First lets cut it to a working length

Like So

Now get your vice and place and the tube straight down and bend to a 45 degree angle (roughly) I just did it by eye

Then place horizontally like this

And bend like so. (Bend even more, as this pic shows it not fully bent)

Then Cut off the excess

Cut the Green Clippard tubing the length of your choice. Please use reference pics for this if your going for screen accuracy on this part.

Test Fit it

![image](http://www.gbfans.com/images/pb/pvellos/Ghost Busters_IMG_1954_zpsa987432a.jpg)

It should pass through like this..

![image](http://www.gbfans.com/images/pb/pvellos/Ghost Busters_IMG_1947_zps3d72b1f8.jpg)

If your happy with the length lets move on, if not cut to desired length. Like I did

To keep it in place I used Epoxy Putty

Here you can see how I placed it. Let it dry for an hour and it should be good to go.

Please note that when I did this I

thought it was a permenant set, but when I let my wife handle the wand, she instinctivly pulled it down not knowing it was set, but to my surprise she just jarred it loose and now actually moves back and forth. My guess is that the trigger box is holding it in place, but it works, and now I have a working trigger… Thats it your done. Please note that this does not actually make your barrel extend, this is just for looks.

Very nice.

Sweet!

Looks good… however, it should be longer and pass completely through the gun box to the other side which is then held in place with the small shaft collar.
