Another question comes to mind (and please excuse me if I am rehashing old topics that have been beaten to death) - most of the places that I am looking at for flightsuits list sizes, but how do you decide which size fits? I would hate to get an Ebay auction or the like and get the wrong size and have to figure out how to get a refund.
Most of them look like they are based on jacket sizes (40 medium, 44 long etc.), but I read someone here recommend going with one size larger. Do both of those statements ring true?
You know what, you complain about the size, think about us, european people:
when I had to buy it I become mad about the size; Here in europe (except france…) there’s a completly different kind of size-mesaure… luckly I got the right one!
While I understand and sympathise with your situation, I wasn’t really trying to complain and moan as much as hoping I wouldn’t make the same mistake that has probably been made by many others.
Hmm… good question, and something I WISH I had researched before buying mine. Mine arrived about 6 days before halloween and I had no time to return it what-so-ever for a smaller size… it absolutely DROWNS me http://www.geocities.com/the_ogb/full_shot.JPG go there to see what I’m talking about. I only went one size bigger… Get the size that fits.
Remember to think about Short, Regular and Long in addition to your chest size. For example, you say your sports jacket size is a 44. Depending on your height though, a 44 regular (44R) might not fit. (that’s what your problem looks like, Venkman. It just looks too long for you)
My sports coat size is 44, but I’m also 6’ tall with a 32 inch leg inseam, so my size is a 44L.
