I’m Ron. I’ve been a fan of the GB since the 1st movie was in theaters. I made a very iffy GhostBusters-ish costume back in 86 that I regret not having any photos of. I’ve had a few occasions to photograph some Ecto-1s though, most recently at the Star Cars Museum in Gatlingburg TN.
I rank GhostBusters in my 5 favorite movies, alongside The Princess Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Shining, and The Legend of 1900.
But-but-but-but…I’m Ron…
Does not compute…

:walterpeck: Hi.
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Nice shootin’ there, Tex!
I’ll be Ivan. I usually am anyway, comes with the name “Ivan Ronald Schablotski”.
No need for 'splodies.
I was just joking around with you, feel free to answer whatever name you prefer.
With the login name of Crazy1van, its probably just more confusing for me NOT to be Ivan. Besides, this board is one of the few places my first name is likely to garner respect.
So like I was saying; Howdy, I’m Ivan.
Cool! Welcome! I hope to see any Ecto up close one of these days
Just the Universal one in the early 90s from afar I think.
Thanks, Zack. It’s always a cool thing to see. I took a picture of the Universal Studios Orlando Ectomobile, which I’ll post when I can get to it. I regret not ensuring that I was in the picture with it. I also saw the live GhostBusters show they were running back then, which was pretty cool, for the 3D stage special effects if nothing else.
Welcome! With names like Stanz, Venkman, and Spengler, you fit in just fine, IvanRon : )
