forgot to mention, my uniform is kinda baggy because of being so tiny, so i’m looking more into the boots men wear instead of the high heel boots women wear, so that i tuck my pant legs in and make my uniform look not so baggy. again if anyone could help me out, i’d really appreciate it!
how accurate do you want it to be, just some basic combat boots from an army surplus are passable, but if you want the accurate look of the corcorans the cheapest i’ve see is 60 bucks, but i can’t tell you anything on the quality. i would check around your local army surplus or ebay as my combat boots i paid 25 bucsk for and mil spec boots are built to last. not a bad deal!!
btw, this post should have been in the wanted section, i’m sure a moderator will move it soon.
If you could send me a link for the $60 boots, i’d really appreciate it! i’ve checked ebay and a bunch of other websites and i couldnt find anything that was my size. but yes, i am looking to get as accurate as possible. Thank you!
& i’m still learning my way around the website. i just joined not that long ago, and havent really been on it at all until today because of being so hard to find these boots ![]()
Accurate boots (Corcoran 995) on eBay can be few and far between. You just have to be patient and look regularly. Used boots are around 50-60$ (that’s what I paid mine) Plus, they’re pre-weathered! ![]()
A visit to your local army surplus would be worth it, too. Since you live in the States, boots in army surplus have a good chance of being Corcorans or Carolinas. Up here we don’t have that luck!
Keep us posted. ![]()
i dont really have a problem finding boots, its finding them in my size and in my budget. im willing to pay $60 but i cant find my size and if anyone can help me out with that and send links i’d really appreciate it. I’d be a women’s size 5 or a mens size 3/3.5
sorry i checked out the sizes and cant find anything less then a 5 mens
yeah me too. it really sucks that i’m so tiny. i have to get a child’s XL flightsuit. an adult small is too big for me.
and now i cant find boots either.
Did a bit a research and I can confirm that the smallest Corcoran boots are Men size 6. I wonder if there’s somebody out there that makes jump boots (paratrooper boots) in child’s sizes…
here are a couple boots i found. the MCRAE’S have a zipper dont really resemble the jump boots used, the GI BOOTS ones look similar to the jump boots but don’t have the side zipper, but free shipping
the side zippers can always be installed if you really wanted them there. and the BATES come in a size 4, have the accurate look, side zippers, but the sole is wrong, personally imo i like the bates (i own a pair) because i think the tread is a little more practical espcially for winter, and i got them cheap. of course you might need to wear a couple pairs of sox for those to fit. if i find anything else i’ll let you know.
i’ll check out these websites and let you know how it goes
thank you!
the second link will be perfect. i dont need the zipper. i appreciate the help:) thank you so much!
Those look perfect indeed. Great job Jesse. ![]()
My pleasure sa6d6ie6!! Glad I could help! And thanks mike!
i ordered them, and they’re on their way! im glad my uniform is almost fully complete now.![]()
Great! Hope you like them!
Great work JesseJames51.
You can always have zippers added to them in the future. Most shoe repair shops can “install” them for you, for $15 to $20 bucks.
This site has Corcoran 995s all the way from childrens size 11 all the way up to adult size 15 (including wides):

$99 isn’t too bad for brand new ones.
