interesting....

I’m not one to criticize the work of others, and this pack is actually pretty good all things considered, but I think whoever built it must’ve…um…left a magnifying glass sitting on top of the “Ion Arm” page in norm’s plans. :stuck_out_tongue: I think you’ll see what I mean.

Haha that is funny. But oh well it’s got character.

I see what you mean… but it definately looks like someone put the time in on that pack you know?! Correct or not, it looks like many hours spent. I gotta congradulate anyone who takes what they have to make something cool looking.

The talent of the packmaker is not in question at all. They did really good! I just thought it was a little funny how everything else looks great but the ion arm is a little…off. If that was their first pack, the second was probably screen-accurate. This pack actually makes a bit of an optical illusion…because of the arm and the tubing, the pic makes that part of the pack look much closer than the rest. How many of US have ever built a pack that bends the laws of physics, huh? :stuck_out_tongue:

If I had to guess, I’d say the ion arm is like that because they didn’t have any dowel rods small enough to fit the bill. Or maybe they built that part from memory after following the plans for everything else.

Either that or once they got to that part they’d gone through the better part of a 12 pack of beer.

And I know that most of us have been there before when putting a pack together… or at least I have…do I have a problem?

Cam

yes cam you have a problem…we all do we love to build proton packs…and thats why we are here
