I guess this is a little overdue since I registered at the end of May.
My name is Ryan and live in the suburbs of Chicago. As with Ghostbusters, I too have turned 25 this year. I’ve been a fan of Ghostbusters for as long as I can remember, but to be honest grew up on RGBs. I remember being tremendously scared of the original movie, but soon came to love it…and even Ghostbusters II.
I had a ton of Ghostbusters toys growing up and kinda wish they are still around. Recently, I’ve tracked down the NECA Slimer, Gozer and Stay Puft figures and display them proudly in my room. I also have an extra Slimer that I managed to have Dan Aykroyd sign at a signing for his Crystal Skull vodka (which I also have signed). I also own the 360 and PS2 versions of the video game. I heard about this site through another GB fan site a while ago, but signed up after I found GBFans on Twitter.
A little more about myself…I’m a graduate of Illinois State University…majored in Public Relations and minored in Psychology. I currently work for a search marketing company here in Chicago. I had previously worked as a manager for Abercrombie & Fitch for about 2 and a half years. I’m a big Batman and Superman fan…as well as TMNT (also 25 this year). I enjoy working out, the White Sox (even though they are horrible this year), Bears and Blackhawks. I love movies, hate to read, and just like have a good time.
Probably a little more than was asked, but I figured, what the hell.
So hi.
PS: If there’s anyone is Chicago that knows how to build GB props, please PM me because I’d really like either learn how to build them or commission some stuff. Hopefully that’s ok. Thanks.
