Hello all. My name is Jeremy Hicks. I am from the north Georgia mountains, but I currently live in Indianapolis. It is vastly different and though I’ve been here for a while, I still find it difficult to adjust to a city life. My hobbies usually center around Civil War history but there is a lack of that here. I started to become interested in various conventions through some friends I’ve made, and this rekindled my childhood love for Ghostbusters. I’m amazed at the props and equipment people have built and I hope to find a group here in Indy to go to events with, and hopefully learn to build or purchase some of these amazing props.

It’s really kind of funny, though, that you have the same name as a friend of mine who lives in New Mexico. It threw me for a second. :lol:
I keep managing to stay a state north of you. I’m from the NC mountains and moved to Michigan. Same feelings on the city life as well

I spent a lot of time in the NC mountains growing up. My grandfather was Cherokee and every year we’d visit the reservation. I miss those days. NC mountains are beautiful.
Fritz, I checked out your friends profile and noticed his mother’s name is Sharon Hicks…that is my wife’s name. That’s a little creepy…lol
I lived on the rez for about 11 years of my life. We might be related o0 The remainder 16 years were spent in Bryson City (just off the rez).
