I picked up a complete Iona SP-3 on Facebook marketplace for $25. I have several Spirit Halloween PKE meters that I’ve been perfectly happy with, but the price was right, so… Merry Christmas to me! The originals were Iona SP-1’s. They appear identical to me, and the only difference I’ve seen is that the SP-1 is one speed and the SP-3 is two speed. Any prop experts want to chime in? Is there an SP-2? Coincidentally, I live in Georgia, and my wife is from Manchester, Connecticut where these Iona’s were manufactured!
The SP-2 is a completely different shape, only vaguely reminiscent of the PKE-style SP-1 and SP-3. The only apparent difference between the SP-1 and SP-3 seems to be mechanical, and not cosmetic.
