Was wondering if there was anyone local who shares my love of all things ghostbusters plus I’m looking to join up if you guys are already organized in to a group. If one doesn’t exist yet and anyone in the area wants to start one up let me know.
The Jacksonville area has the First Coast Ghostbusters. I was a member for a short time until I was up for new orders (military). I think Dr_Woodley is the only active member of the First Coast GBs now. Your best bet would probably be to get with him (he’s on my friends list) and try to recruit more, or hook up with the Orladno franchise. They are a pretty awesome group of peeps too.
There are tons of us in FL, it’s a long running joke around here…
Thats good to hear. Orlando is a little out of my way if I can’t get anything more local I’ll definately keep Orlando open as an option.
Yep, At last count the total number of Fl franchises was equal to the population of Kansas.
But seriously if you look here http://ghostbustersunited.com/ you’ll find 5 in Fl, those are just the ones that signed up for the sight…all exaggeration aside, there are probably double that down there.

Chris Turner posted this on his Facebook today, if I’m looking at it right and if it’s accurate, thats 13 Franchise! 13!!! Now to put that in pespective some larger states have multiple franchises because of their huge land mass. Like Texas…Texas has 4.
Our group is probably the closest to you right now as I’m not sure how active the First Coast Group is right now.

Is there a showing of GB in theatres near Jax?
I got an email today about a theatre in Lake Mary showing the movie looking for GB’s to make an appearance…
regal and amc have both said they will have it
If there isn’t a theater here in Brunswick then count in 4 more (1 child) uniformed members.
I hope it plays in Tallahassee! Any other GB’s here?
