I did a hunt, and there is a dude in the UK selling a few, reasonable condition for being almost 30 years old for around 50 american dollars. Also, a guy from Connecticut is selling one too, it’s around 75 for the bidding, but thats not half bad, considering some morons sell these things for over 200 bucks on there. Figured if anyone was interested. I would go for them, but I lack the funds. I’m sure they’ll come up again in the future.

Wasn’t sure if this was a frowned upon type of post, but I have seen some people take the kenner traps and do some wonderful repaints with them. I look forward to seeing some more. I always get inspired to do the same…one day I will. Take care!

Ok. I wasn’t sure, but I know these things are hard to find at a decent price. Oh well. If this post gets taken down, that’s ok. If not, I did the leg work of searching while I couldn’t sleep…

Found one on ebay last week but got out bid (30 bucks for a worn out trap with a missing handle). Always looking though.

I still try to bid on a bunch of em. I always get outbid, and refuse to pay more than 40 bucks for a broken trap…

i was givin a kenner trap about a month ago in pretty much perfect condition and ended up painting it black and did a few other touch ups on it to make it look like a real trap. i bet there are gonna be ppl out there hating me for that.

I repainted my old one, and added some interior lights and front indicator part.

When the doors open the light comes on inside.

Been toying with the idea of selling it but didn’t know if there would be any interest with all the Matty traps out there.

Maybe, But that’s what I’m planning on doing. If I can find one that is.

I plan on repainting the toy just like that. That’s why I’m trying to find a cheap one. Looks great, btw.

the only thing i don’t like about the kenner trap is the handle. i just find it too small. i do realize it’s a kids toy but i still would like to put a bigger and longer handle on it.

I started to bid a bit on it…but someone has that Auto bid crap on. Lol. I hate that thing. Not sure what the cap was up to…didn’t want to chance going bankrupt for a trap. :stuck_out_tongue: But I found it. May I suggest using better keywords? I typed Ghostbuster, Trap, Ghostbuster trap, and it was mixed in one of the last few pages…

Thanks for the bids, looks like theres a guy who really wants it as well. Still it doesn’t finish until 7ish GMT (UK) so it’s all still to play for. :0)
