Over the next few weeks I’ll be starting a full Kylie uniform, has anyone else made any with photos/tips?
Any advice would be great, thanx ![]()

There may be more, but this is the only one I found after going through the uniform gallery:
I’ll be watching this - will be nice to see some more from the cartoon-side of things.
The only thing I will say (although not technically about the uniform) is that out of all the Kylie cosplays I’ve seen, none of them have ever got the hair right… it’s needs to be choppy and almost spiky.

That hair was all the rage with girls in the mid-2000’s, shame it’s gone out of fashion tbh ![]()
I’ve noticed this too, most of them just gel it in place as best they can.
I’ll definitely be going for a choppy hair cut once I’ve got the black hair dye on.
Well as far as photos go I’ll direct you to the link in my sig for tons of screen shots, and as far as the chest plate I have 2 suggestions, 1. do like some of the Boba Fett builders and make it custom from trash cans ( I’ve did it myself, works great). or 2. If you are looking to modify something that already exists, avoid football pads, the never really look right, always to bulky, or too short. I’d recommend something like these.
Any other questions just give a shout, I’ve studied her costume quite a bit as well as eduardo’s
A wig would be much easier. ![]()
The “Punky” wig by Amphigory would make a great starting base. Of course, you would need to cut and style it a bit to match Kylie’s hair. My wife and I have used several of these particular wigs over the years for different characters with great results.

Either way, I look forward to seeing what you do for Kylie! :kylie:
Glad to see more EGB stuff on the board. Looking forward to seeing the finished Kylie uniform.
I may be getting American football pads for only £30 + postage, so I’ll give them a try either way. If it looks stupid I’ll go for the next idea, lol.
I think they usually look too bulky because a lot of people leave the heavy padding in for this costume. I’d rather rip it all out, put in very thin padding and reposition the shoulder pieces further up.
Same one as in my earlier post. ![]()
The thing I easily like about Extreme Ghostbusters were the deviations from the traditional uniforms.
I like how they’re different too, I like to stand out when dressing up, lol.
I’ve got my shoulder pades and I’ve drilled out all the rivets and completely dismantled it, taking bits out because I want it to fit as close to snug as possible. Getting excited about this build ![]()
In my case I was looking at something I can wear a bit more often than just costuming, so I might take some sort of heavy duty uniform shirt and logo it up.
Awesome, looking forward to how this turns out… my wife has been thinking of a Kylie cosplay as well…
It’s a fun project, the ghost trap is going to be complicated, going to make it operational and I’m using steel hubcaps as the frame
