Well, I was told I wouldn’t need a costume for Halloween. Then I was told I could use one if I wanted to. Then I decided to check out the cheap GB uniform from the costume store…none in my size. This is VERY last minute, but any chance I can piece something together by Thursday?
The mass marked one runs between $35-50 from what I can tell. I could just buy a flight suit and patches for close to the same, right? I could then add to it over time?
I work at a school and wouldn’t get away with a proton pack, but would be the hero of the day to 500 kids if I could pull off just a cool flight suit. Any help? Thanks!
5’11, 185lbs, pants are 34" x 32", and my shirt size is a Large (or 16 1/2" neck and 34"-35" sleeves). I have pretty broad shoulders and used to play college football…I am not real husky, but broad through the shoulders and thighs if that makes sense, lol.
I remembered that Spencers had a GB tie. They are out of it locally and where my parents live, so I can’t even get that shipped in time. I saw one at Mall of America a month ago and should have bought it! Argh!!! Even that would have worked out to be partially cool. Thanks!!!
I work in Albert Lea at an elementary school. We have a costume parade on Thursday. I really just need something for that, BUT would like to eventually piece together a uniform for future Halloween’s, etc.
Any chance you could meet me in Mankato sometime between now and Thursday? I have a spare flight suit I’ll borrow to you; its a 44L, and fits me perfectly as a 6’1" 195# guy.
