I did a search and didn’t come up with anything specific, regardless, I was curious as to the general consensus of what the best or optimum way of attaching the leg hose to the connector. I was looking for something not permanent, as I’m sure I’ll have to wash the uniform at some point.
Mostly people use some type of friction. Either tape around the hose to create a snug fit or something shoved inside the end of the hose to accomplish the same.
That’s what I figured. I tried putting a dowel inside to hose, but it didn’t make it big enough. My next plan was to wrap electrical tape around it. Good to know that those are the most common ways. Alrighty, off to the original plan…
I also have problems with my hose coming out of the connector. I usually just push it in there and twist it, but it still comes out. I am going to try the electrical tape. I will post results.
This is exactly what I have been doing. I have a ring of the black-colored duct tape around the end, and it has done a great job of keeping the two parts together while walking around.
I used a nylon hose barb from the hardware store…stuck the hose through my hardware made hose connector and barbed it from the other side. I cut the barb has a divider that is larger than than the neck of the hose connector, so it will never come out.
