does anyone have any measurements for the goggle lenses.
I found these

but, can anyone vouch for their accuracy, or have pics of a build that used these measurements?

They’ll only be as accurate as anything else that’s been eyeballed over the years. To date none of the Ecto Goggle props from the movies have surfaced.
Thanks. They say the identity of the right lens is known so although it’s rare does anyone have the measurements for it? And myother question from the first post, has anyone made lenses with these plans? I’d love to see how they look on some frames before I go through the trouble of building them.
You’re right, I’d forgotten about the lense discovery.
I’m surprised we haven’t seen more from that, it gathered up a load of momentum and then just… vanished.
I’m not immediately aware of anyone using them, although for all I know they could be the ones I used when I was making my Goggles.
Its suppose to be a rare part so I didn’t know if anyone had gotten their hands on one yet. I did a lot of snooping around on ebay today, and although they didn’t have the proper lens I did see a lot of “standard sizes” in many of the adapters there so looking at those, the measurements for the diameters in the plans above of the lenses seem very possible, maybe not to the millimeter, but defiantly close. I don’t know about the lengths though, but if they look proportionally correct then I guess that will have to be close enough till someone gets more accurate measurements .
I used busybuildr’s plans
http://www.gbfans.com/equipment/plans/busybuildr/
He specifically says that they’re likely not 100% screen accurate. That being said, I’m very happy with they way mine came out. I don’t have any good closeups, but here’s a pic of me wearing them. My shorter lens is a little long because I missed the annotation he made, but otherwise they match his plans.

Thanks for the kudos, Wallabe. I’m happy to see someone found the plans helpful.
Your goggles look great !
