I’ve been scouring the site for days but haven’t been able to find an answer to this question.

What should be used for the base of the lenses to get that “lip”. I’m not talking about the plumbing fittings from Norm’s plans. Here’s an example of what i’m talking about.

Where the lens meets the faceplate. Some folks have said “rubber washers” but can anyone be more specific? I live in the states. Is this something i can get at home depot or lowes? And if so, any info as far as what department or what to ask for is very much appreciated.

I use 1 1/2" Slip Joint Washers, along with Chevy’s lens formula (see Tutorials forum). Last post of this thread you can see the packaging and how they look on the lenses. GBFans.com
