So after acquiring a second hand gbfans light/sound kit and reviewing the instructions, I was curious if anyone knows if it’s possible to make the gun ear light stay lit. This is my second pack, and I always liked having the gun ear light on, because it seemed to me, that people were more likely to not run into my thrower when holstered.
Any advice would be awesome, I’m hoping to not have to splice it into the vent light, but if I have to, I’ll document it for anyone else that wants to do the same.
I think you need to have your thrower kit in Movie mode by selecting the relevant dip switches. When the thrower light kit is in standby mode, press the gun ear button once and it should illuminate the hat light. Hope this helps, I’m going off the top of my head as I’m away from my pack right now
Thanks man. When I had started playing with the light kit, I was reading the instructions on my phone, and getting really frustrated with all the combinations of how to do everything.
After reviewing the instructions I had missed. You turn the main power off, vent light on, and press the red button.
