Many hellos from a Southern Gal!

Hello all. My name is Erin. I’m not going to keep everyone, so I’ll make this quick. I was a Ghostbusters fan as a kid. My cousin and I used to put on plastic proton packs and go around the neighbor busting ghosts that didn’t exist. Now, 23 years later, I’m still that much in love with Ghostbusters. Being older, of course, I understand a lot of the paranormal chatter and such in the films, but enough about that. I did watch the old cartoons, but sadly, those have escaped my mind a bit. But, I’m catching up. I bought the first volume of RGB the other week, and slowly realizing why it was on for so long. So, I apologize in advance about not being well versed in RGB. But give me time.

Overall, I’m not sure what I’ll contribute to the forums. I wish I was more artistic, that I could draw and the such. I do love to write and role play. Mainly, I’ll always be open to discuss Ghostbusters with anyone, at any time, and am always here to contribute, at least my thoughts.

Many thanks in advance to anyone willing to stop by and say hello

welcome aboard! Glad to have you here reliving the good old days

I’ve always been a big kid at heart. So I knew, sooner or later, I would be reliving my Ghostbusters’ love/days. It was bound to happen, eventually. Plus, that movie was such a huge success when I was a kid, I mean. It’s only right that it would be coming back now. I’m all for the 3rd movie. And have always respected Dan for always going with his paranormal beliefs. Sure, others don’t believe, but that never burst his bubble. But thank you for the hello. It means so much to me. Not bad mouthing, but I joined this other Ghostbusters forum, and no one even said hello. So, I’m glad I found another one where, at least one person, said hi lol.

I’m sure you’ll get other replies in time!

Good to see a ‘chick’ in the ranks of what is probably a male dominated interest…welcome GBChick

Thank you. So nice of you to say.

Welcome to the board. Glad to see you returning to your childhood. Its where all the best things happen.

I remember when my ghostbusters love kicked back in. And found this place. It was a great day.

Charlie_Richter,

Agent Gibbs, &

Ray Stanz GB:

Thank you three for the warm welcomes. I would love to share stories that I have, and also just to sit around and remember the good days, and even going back to GB, how that seems to make good days now. (My job is kind of stressful lol)

If you guys ever need some quick avatars or signatures (Must admit, I cheat and use Picasa and Picnik to doll up my graphics) but you know, hit me up. Would love to make more GB related graphics. (Just a fun fact: My avatar and banner, I dolled up using those programs, if anyone is interested)

It’s always good to see another girl around here! Welcome to the forums and the site. I hope you have fun, because we pretty much all do.

Whereabouts in the South are you from? I am in W. North Carolina, but originally from Florida-ish.

Try doing it at 38!

Gareee is doing it at 51! You are never to old to relive your childhood… although he was an adult when it this all started.
