I was considering getting some of my figures graded. Was wondering if anyone else has done this? Have a few misp vintage figures and was debating if I should get my slimed egon and marshmallow mess ray done as well.
Its a waste of time and money. It’ll cost more to grade the GB figures than they are worth. I know I’ve been there. After sending in blue Snaggle tooth from Star Wars and not getting the same one back I’ll never have anything graded ever again. It doesnt make the figure worth a dime more. It just ends up costing you.

I sent in my first series run of kenner figures (Ray, Egon, Peter, Winston, Slimer & Stay Puft) and i feel like it was totally worth it, there re-sell value is significantly increased and they are very well protected. I wouldn’t do it for all more figures but ones the you especially care for or think are worth money, I’d say go for it! 
I guess you could have your figures graded by AFA but I don’t feel that it is important, I feel it’s more of a personal choice really.
This is coming from a super collector. It may make them worth more on “paper” but it’s not what thier worth its what you can get. Save your money and buy more figures. The AFA is a waste of money bottom line.
