MattyCollector has released the 2nd half of their 2011 Ghostbusters release schedule! While Matty Collector stresses that the release schedule can change (like it did in the beginning of 2011) they are pretty confident in these release dates.

June 15th:

-Ghostbusters 2, 6" Winston Zeddemore with Slime Blower and Tri-Pod Trap

July 15th:

-Ghostbusters 2, 12" Peter Venkman & Winston Zeddemore Double Pack.

July 20th: (San Diego Comic Con)

-22" Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. (Left overs will be sold online around August 1st) Check out the Stay Puft Release Video

August 15th:

-Ghostbusters 6" Lab Coat Egon Spengler with Library Ghost.

October 17th:

-Ghostbusters 6" Ray Stantz with Cinema Ghost (Ghostbusters 2)

-Ghostbusters 2, 12" Ray Stantz & Egon Spengler Double Pack.

-Secret Ghostbusters Prop to be announced at SDCC

December 15th:

-6" Figure to Be Announced at San Diego Comic Con.

It looks like October is going to be one action packed and expensive month between these figures and the other Ghostbusters releases! We can’t wait for Matty Collector to announce the new figures for the end of the year and for 2012! Check back on Ghostbusters Fans for all the release details as they happen from Comic Con.

Sounds good! But, I cannot for the life of me remember who would be the “Cinema Ghost.”

I doubt the secret prop would be a proton pack, so I’m guessing trap.

My guess is the secret prop is going to be Ecto-Goggles.

I want a trap though, hope it’s a trap!!

This will be a great year! Looking forward to the prop (hopefully the trap!) and the GB2 Ray will look great with GB2 Winston.

Does this mean there definitely won’t more Retro Action figures released this year or is this list just for mattycollector.com website releases?

Are the 12" double packs going to be a little cheaper than buying them both separate?

Also, another vote for a trap. My belt needs one.

Edit: Derp, just noticed they’re GB2 12" figures. Still want 'em.

No known plans for those.

Do we know for sure there will be extra stay pufts for the 8/1/11 sale?

They typically sell extras online afterwards. I believe they did say this would happen this year as well.

I expect not very many Stay Pufts to sell at the event, so there will probably be a day or two where they will be available online.

I will buy GB2 Egon if he’s in the dark uniform.

The 12" figures? They will have both color uniforms with exchangable patches.

The last price I was quoted on the 12’’ double pack was $120.Same as buying two separate 12’’ figures.But the double sets come with trap,ecto goggles and as stated before extra uniforms and patches,more bang for you buck.

I’m sorry to be the voice of dissension, but is anyone else bored with endless variations of the same characters. I love Egon, but do I need a 3rd version of him? More characters would be great.

yeah I hear you. would be nice to see another non-GB human 6" figure. though we did get Louis this year. would LOVE a Dana-Zuul figure, but I think that goes without saying lol
