I ordered some stay puft figs to the UK and im sure it said that the estimated time of arrival was the 8th, not despatch date? Anyone else read it that way?

Damn those pictures make me want him even more! I missed him by like 15mins(i think).. First Matty figure I missed out on, kind of sucks. Not sure if I want to hit up ebay for him or not though..

Possibly. But a lot of places also have tracking numbers days even week(s) before the package is even shipped finally.

update:
it’s NOT “in transit”, even though it’s listed as being so…it’s still just “Electronic shipping info received” as the actual status…
also,the charge disappeared from my CC…which,is actually nothing new,as everything i’ve ordered from matty.com has done that, but it probably won’t re-post to my acount until it’s ready to ship…
at this point,guess it actually won’t actually,physically ship til the 8th…or 9th… but it’s good to know it should go right out as soon as it’s ready…
BTW,anyone ever hear or find out WHY they’re not shipping til a week later?
So where are you reading “In transit” then? Did you just think that because you got a tracking number, or did you actually read “in transit” somewhere?
They said it won’t ship til the 9th, so I wouldn’t expect it to ship until the 9th. That’s when they said it will be ready, so of course it will ship when it’s ready. Mattel isn’t hoarding these things and just not shipping them out because they don’t feel like it.

but in the more detailed description below that,it has listed for it “Electronic Shipping Info Received”
…obviously,it’s NOT in transit,but is awaiting said transit…

it left the Sparks,NV Shipping Facility Friday night at 10:21 PM!
Has any one elses actually arrived at their shipping facility and started moving yet? Mine apparently left the Matty facility a week ago today and has yet to arrive at UPS for shipment. I know it’s coming EVENTUALLY, but the wait time no some of these shipments recently has me constantly nervous.

went from Ontario,CA to Sparks,NV,to Fishers,IN, to Elizabeth,NJ, and now to Newark…
Mine was SUPPOSED to ship on the 8th. It left Matty’s facility for delivery to UPS on the 3rd of this month. It is now the 12 and UPS still has not received my package for shipping yet. My status still reads as such:
A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status–including the scheduled delivery date–will be updated.
Over a week now and it is still not even headed my way. :sigh: At this rate it will be longer than the 2 + weeks it took to get my 12 inch Stantz. I mean…should I call and complain? This is becoming a regular thing for me.
for whatever reason,my stuff never transfers over to UPS, but rather the USPS…
UPS and USPS don’t “transfer”…
You must have selected USPS as your shipping option when you purchased, rather than UPS, so it ships via USPS the whole way.
Yeah, I used the USPS last time and specifically switched to UPS for this shipment thinking it would be better…maybe not.
