Odd. Got mine yesterday.
I live in Florida, so hopefully it’s only shipping down. Although when I bought the deluxe figures they came from Canada and took many of the scenic routes before arriving at my house.
My rookie is on the way and I also ordered the Ghostbusters 360 Game Guide, so I’m all ready for when he shows up to get more achievements I missed!

Got mine today. Actually glad i ordered him, i love his tooled out belt.
Mine came yesterday. Gotta say that he’s a great figure. Missing game add ons aside, the accessories are great. My only gripe would be the placement of the PKE on his belt. Because of his in package pose, the handle bends up but nothing a hair dryer can’t fix. Matty needs to focus on these fun side characters. They keep the line fresh.
Got my 2 Rookies…It’s nice to have another trap and more accurate (Although in my opinion, now oversized) goggles…However, both mine have ribbon cables that are black and unpainted, save for a single stripe of yellow on the outside edge. Has anyone else seen this on theirs? I know the paint apps on the ribbon cables on all my other GB figures haven’t been perfect, but no paint at all seems really shoddy…
got a nice surprise at work today, my 2 Rookie figures arrived 4-5 days early (and that was WITH cornerstone logistics!)
I opened 1 up, I love how he turned out - the pke meter should be flat like in the game and he should have the “super-pack” from the game (or at least a better accessory, the trap is a lame pack-in) other then that I love it, Im glad I got 2 for the extra goggles and so I can customize him to look like me
the goggles are huge - I have 2 of the “unsquished” Ray heads, and they are even too big for him, I will have to do some modification to a pair to fit him. they fit the Rookie great though, I really like the figure…
For sure, I try and make sure I have UPS selected each time. I get it the next day with them.
I wasnt in a rush to get them, so I was pleasantly surprised when I got them 4-5 days early
I was going to go with UPS, but I wasn’t about to pay 13 dollars to ship a half pound box.
yes i agree they slacked on the paint for the cables i think that might be on all of them
Well considering what it says in game I think I’ll call him Hoss. Anyway if he was meant to be generic then the player would have been able to customise the player (change his hair colour, face, overall look, etc).
he was left uncustomizable due to the pre-rendered videos throughout the game. “Hoss” is a generic nickname. He was NEVER given a proper name in the game.
He was meant to be a “blank canvas”. Why do you think he didn’t have any dialogue, or when the subject of his name came up, Venkman preferred not to know the rookie’s name?

The Rookie’s head is far too big. The goggles WOULD fit the others if his head were smaller.
Winston’s head looks like a child’s next to the Rookie&s.
