I heard around that they’re only making 1000 of these things. I’ve looked around the forum and online and found nothing. I remember hearing in an interview that they will be “readily available.” Has anyone else heard this?
No one knows. They’ve said they’re aware of the demand but they’re still a collector company and don’t give a damn outside of their own sales. 1000-2000 seems likely though any more than that I would doubt. 
Mattel does not discuss logistics with people outside of their company.
Its such a shame that they have to go about the pke and the figures in such a way. I’d love to buy more of the Matty GB products, but I don’t always have dispensable income when the big boy toys go on sale. Its a drag you can’t just casually purchase these things.

Well, yeah. Nobody is arguing that. I just think it’s lame and unfortunate. I wish it were different.
They need a lower cap on how many they can sell at one time. the 10 max is just too damn many to sell to one person at a time. You know half of the jackasses out there will ■■■■■■ up 10, keep 1, then sell the other 9 for a crapton more then they paid for on Ebay.
At the very least, make about 5000. They know damn well they’ll still sell them with that many at the $60 price tag. Then again, that’s me using logic again.

Well if you look on ebay right now there are people selling preorders for them already for more than the rrp, I only want one & will be waiting for the 9am start time to grab one. I can see where they are coming from for the max 10 per order, some people may want to club together on the shipping & have them sent to a place they are sure will be delivered to. But there will always be folks that take the chance to rip people off.
You guys can ship them to my house.

People on eBay are already taking pre-orders for them them 10-20 available but make sure they put that they won’t be shipped tul at least 12/15 due to Mattel’s shipping schedule

i heard they were only going to sell them in increments of 10. so, everyone has to order ten when placing an order.
i only wanted 3, i dont know 10 people locally that are into ghostbusters, and now they’re making only 1000 units? 100 people can get them! THATS NOT FAIR.
But is 10 minimum per order pure speculation? I can’t see them forcing 10 per order.
