I’m a big fan of Michael.
It sucks that he died.. but he really hasn’t been the Michael that we all liked since the early 90’s. So in a way he died long ago..
Jackson was sick in the head but I really don’t think he was a ■■■■■■■■■. The father of the first kid was after money, pure and simple. You can’t financially settle a child molestation charge, it was a civil matter, not a criminal one.
For a sensible & rational person who believes in right & wrong & justice, that may be true… But not everyone on this planet is sensible or rational and some families will allow greed to hinder justice. I’m sure there are A LOT of dysfunctional families who would gladly take a lot of money to settle outside of court. I mean, come on… there are families who basically abuse and even KILL their children to gain notoriety. (Anyone remember Jon Benet Ramsey?) There are irrational & greedy people EVERYWHERE… not everyone has a price, but some people do. Just as Michael’s settling out of court doesn’t necessarily imply guilt… their acceptance of that settlement does not mean that there was no molestation.
You can only speak for yourself… you cannot speak for the sicko’s on this planet who would put money before justice and their own family’s well-being.
What I’m saying is that criminal charges were never brought against Jackson, only civil ones. He was never charged criminally due to… lack of evidence. Also, don’t you think you might just want to buy into these accusations when while talking about Jackson you imply that Ramsey was killed by her own parents (unless I am misunderstanding you)?

Well… if one such as yourself could imply the party that accepted the settlement was fabricating their accusations surely i could play devil’s advocate and imply a scenario in which a lot of people believe (even without evidence) that the parents were behind the death of their child… much like the fact that there are many people… Despite the lack of evidence… who believe that michael jackson IS a child molester.

AJ, I’m on your side. As a musician, his peak was the 80’s and very early 90’s, and I respect his musical work. As a person, I can’t put into words how hilarious and simultaneously disturbing he was, not to mention messed in the head.
Either way, the King of Pop is gone.
I don’t believe for one minute that he did anything to any children. If anything he was the real victim (of his own success). For one, the guy didn’t even have a “real” childhood, not to mention all the abuse he and his siblings suffered from their father. Plus! they’ve already proven that many of the people who accused him of…well you know, were money hungry a**holes, in fact, other than the one mentioned above, there were at least two others I can recall. One was a woman who had claimed that he had molested her son, and then it was found out by the authorities that she had an extensive history of filing frivolous lawsuits, the second was, a man who had claimed that one of Micheal’s animals had bitten him while visiting the Neverland ranch, and tried to sue him for liability, but it was later found out that the guy was really bitten by, his OWN dog.
The bottom line is, he was the MOST famous person in the world, not to mention one of the most generous, which made him an easy target for every possible extortionist, and scam artist. Yes, he was very weird, but a “child preditor”, no. Plus, as mentioned above, child molestation charges are NOT something that will be “settled” out of court, the reason it wasn’t persued to trial is because, the people with whom he settled, had gotten what they wanted all along, money, and they knew if the case would have went to trial, they would have lost, so the best way to assure that they would get paid? a settlement. Case Closed…permanently!
