Well after waiting for what seemed like forever, it finally arrived, my MMM GB1 trap kit! I opted for the version with the Aluminum plates and the slide rails for the cartridge.
Anyway here’s what everything looks like out of the box:
Sorry about the lack of updates, I got the kit and then was rushing to put it together before a Halloween party. I don’t know if I have any progress pics, but I will def upload some finished pics later tonight.
Alright well I’m a little busier tonight than I thought. I need to start putting a third coat of spackle on the joints in the basement, and then my gf decided to go to the gym…so now its time for some Sanctum of Slime lol.
My SLR’s batteries are dead, so while it’s charging I snapped a few with my phone. These will have to do for now, here you go!
I agree 100% and I plan to sand it down and do a better job one of these days. In typical me fashion I received it and had less than a week to fully assemble and paint it before a halloween costume.
Hell I built my proton gun in less than 72 hours with no sleep, and at a friends house with tools I brought in my car, and went to a con for 3-6 hours during the day. I managed to finish it attach it to my pack and get everything working before I had Ernie Hudson sign it, but still. My plan is to take my time on my next pack and carefully do everything, and there may be a second trap build in my future…anyway…thanks for looking!
If I had extra money laying around I’d try to get my friends to order either MMM’s trap kit or gun kit and have “speed build” contest. Basically it would be you have 3 days, see who’s looks the best if only worked on for 3 days.
Again this would be fun, if we all had $100+ to throw away…maybe one day lol.
