Motherboard mounting - need help *pics*

Yo Ghostheads!

I’ve got a little problem with my pack. Yesterday I asked a guy who supposedly knew about mounting & D.I.Y. etc… to mount my pack (quite heavy) to my new motherboard. The shell is made from a hard resin which can be drilled and sanded but…

I got it back today and well… I’m not very happy…

He’s pretty much drilled holes & tapped the shell, now… I’m not an expert in DIY or anything but I do know that it doesn’t look/feel right. I also then discovered that (because the pack is so heavy) I have a nice big gap at the top corner where he hasn’t drilled or tapped anything, looks like if I wr to run with the pack on… It would probably just snap off or something.

Heres some pics

Any ideas on how I can fix this so that it fits a bit more securely? Maybe I’m just being over paranoid/too picky?

Your shell may be warped causing that gap.Why didn’t you use aluminum L brackets and rivets to ajoin the L brackets with the mobo? Then four holes drilled through the shell and your done.

it looks like you would have benefited from this

if there’s a way to take it back to him, have that done.
